Update on Database of Ship-Terminal Interface Issues

Update on 07 Oct 2024:

The Database on Ship-Terminal Interface Issues contains entries of 766 ports in more than 100 regions/countries, based on 3455 Reports from masters of bulk carriers. In addition to the information about port reception facility issues, there is also feedback from bulk carriers related to other ship-terminal interface problems such as:

  • Anchorage,
  • Cargo shortage,
  • Corruption
  • Crew shore leave,
  • Depth of berth,
  • Length of berth,
  • Loading/unloading,
  • Mooring,
  • Port reception facilities,
  • Port state control inspections
  • Ship to ship transfer (STS)

INTERCARGO members are encouraged to request their bulk carriers to use the “Template – Terminal Report, v.7.0” and report port reception facility issues and ship-terminal interface problems.
