On July 27th, a briefing was conducted by the IMO Secretariat advising on the status of a high-level diplomatic agreement on the establishment of safe corridors for the export of key commodities from the Ukraine ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny. In order to oversee the export operations, a Joint Co-operations Centre (JCC) has been established in Turkey comprising personnel from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Nations. This agreement is under the auspices of the ISM and ISPS Codes and has been brokered by the United Nations.
