HYDRUS webinar: “Quantifying the effect of premium anti-fouling hull coating schemes”

INTERCARGO members are invited to a webinar delivered by Associate Member HYDRUS

on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 08.30 (UK) – 10.30 (Greece) ‎ – 16.30 (Singapore) titled:

“Quantifying the effect of premium anti-fouling hull coating schemes

for introducing it within attained IMO EEXI and RightShip GHG 2.0″

It is recognized by the shipping industry that the low-friction antifouling paints have a very positive effect towards decarbonization.  Investing on a low friction antifouling coating scheme will reduce the actual fuel consumption and it is “fair” to be treated as an Energy Saving Device (ESD) in respect to industry’s design indices.  This presentation will focus on the various approaches ship managers can follow to quantify and utilize the benefits of low-friction antifouling coatings to improve vessel’s attained EEXI and/or RightShip GHG 2.0 score.
