Further to the ETS Workshop with EC DG CLIMA on 12 December 2023 for which registrations are closed,
a third webinar on the extension of the EU ETS to the maritime transport sector will be organised on 15 December 2023 by DG CLIMA and EMSA.
It will focus on the following topics:
- the entity responsible for MRV and ETS compliance,
- the attribution of a shipping company to an administering authority in respect of a shipping company,
- the information to be provided by the shipping company to its administering authority in respect of a shipping company, and
- the request for the opening of a Maritime Operator Holding Account in the Union Registry.
