INTERCARGO has been working with Lloyd’s Register and the UK P&I Club on a new edition of “Carrying Solid Bulk Cargoes Safely – Guidance for crews on the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code”.
The Guidance is aimed to help crews understand the main requirements of the IMSBC Code and to help manage the risks associated with the carriage of Solid Bulk Cargoes.
The new edition of the guidance includes updates on the carriage of Bauxite and also a new section on Cargo residues deemed harmful to the marine environment.
