Towards the end of last year a group of shipping industry organisations, including Intercargo, commissioned an independent study into historical trends in ship efficiency. The study was conducted by Lloyd's Register, co-sponsored by the Chamber of Shipping (UK), OCIMF, WSC, ICS, Intertanko, Intercargo, CLIA and BIMCO, and kindly coordinated by the Chamber of Shipping.
